Tunachiladas

Healthy, tasty, and easy. I'm not even a big tuna fan but when a friend made this for me I had to get the recipe. The white albacore tuna makes all the difference so it doesn't taste "fishy" at all. -- posted by Empire920

Japanese Grilled Tuna

This Japanese-inspired tuna should be grilled very rare for the best flavour. The glaze keeps for two weeks refrigerated, but if it becomes too thick, thin down with a little water before using. Serve with rice and a cucumber salad. To crack peppercorns, place in a plastic bag and bash with rolling pin or back of a pot. Prep time includes marinating time. Kittencal’s Tuna Melt

This is not your ordinary tuna melt, this is THE BEST you will ever have!!... my family loves this, trust me you will be craving this often once you try it! You can use regular white salt but the seasoned salt is better, also use as much cheese and tomato slices as desired. -- posted by KITTENCAL

Mediterranean Tuna Salad

From The Whole Foods Market Cookbook. This colorful combination has universal appeal—great for entertaining or for kids' lunch box meals. Try it over a bed of field greens or in large lettuce leaf cups. Use a good quality Greek olive such as a Kalamata for this salad. For a smoky flavor, try roasted red peppers or Piquillo peppers; they add lots of character. A great way to try this salad is to slice a 9-inch round focaccia in half lengthwise, fill it with the tuna, and press a plate down on top of the round bread. Place a heavy can or weight on top for an hour, and the dressing will seep into the bread. Slice and serve. -- posted by spaghetti_soprano

Healthy Open-Faced Tuna Bagel

With about 250-275 calories, this no-mayo, open-faced sandwich is a lighter alternative to the traditional tuna melt. This is a great sandwich for kids and adults alike because you can barely taste the tuna - it's more like you're eating chicken! Hope you like it. -- posted by Chef #315738
